This property is located on Valentia Island. Valentia is connected to the mainland by a bridge from the small village of Portmagee and by a car & passenger ferry from Cahersiveen/Renard to Knightstown. This ferry operates during the months of April to September.

The house is near the western tip of the island just a few steps from the cliffs facing the Atlantic Ocean with the famous Skelligs in the background. There are magnificent panoramic views from the bay window towards the Atlantic and the Skellig Islands. This is definitely one of the most beautiful spots on the Kerry coastline!


Sceilig Mor matches the highest standards and is tastefully decorated and furnished. Being located in a  quiet area you will enjoy absolute privacy. You can take walks directly from the house along a unique coastline. The fishing village of Portmagee with 2 pubs, restaurants and a shop is just about 1.5 miles away. Portmagee also is the starting point for boat trips to the Skelligs.

 

Knightstown is the largest settlement on Valentia and is about 8 km away from the house. It offers more cafes, a small shop, the Boston Bar and the Royal Hotel with it's bar. Explore the beauty of this island, Bray Head Walk with it's spectacular views or Geokaun Mountain, Valentia Harbour, the Lighthouse, Valentia Slate Grotto, Tetrapod Trackway, Valentia Heritage Museum or the Skelligs Experience Center - just to name a few.
