MURPHY'S COTTAGE is a charming traditional holiday home on Valentia Island. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge and there is a ferry service from Caherciveeen on the Ring of Kerry in the summer month. This cottage is located in the middle of the small island on a quiet road about 2km from the village of Chapeltown. Murphy's Cottage has been recently restored to a typical country cottage with a simple but tasteful interior. A small well kept garden ensures your privacy. A path leads to the shore on Valentia Island (1km) and the breathtaking cliff area on the north-facing side is about 3km away - a paradies for walkers! 
The small fishing village of Portmagee on the mainland and Valentia's main village Knights Town are about 5 minutes by car.
